Reserve Entry

Please be aware the Reserve is privately owned and the barrier is locked. Members of the public are not allowed entry without prior permission.

Members will have their own keys, and on open days or for group bookings there will be someone to let you through the barrier and give you directions for the Reserve.

The nearest postcode to the Reserve is CH6 5SJ - when you reach this location, continue along the road for about 400 yards to the mini roundabout and you will see the Reserve entrance barrier straight ahead.

From The West

Take the A548 towards Connah's Quay/ Queensferry. Take the B5129 Connah's Quay exit off the dual carriageway. At the roundabout, turn sharp left (you should see the large "Rockcliffe" sign on your left) and follow the road for approx half a mile.

The road takes a sharp turn right over the railway and reaches a mini-roundabout where you will see the entrance to the Reserve ahead of you.

From The East

Take the A548 towards Flint and Prestatyn. Take the Connah's Quay B5129 exit. At the first roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards the Power Station. At the next roundabout, go under the flyover and at the next roundabout, turn left where you see the large "Rockcliffe" sign on your left. Follow this road for approx half a mile.

The road takes a sharp turn right over the railway and reaches a mini-roundabout where you will see the entrance to the Reserve ahead of you.

From England

Take either the A550 from Liverpool/north Wirral or the A5117 from Ellesmere Port/M56, then follow the road towards Queensferry. Two hundred metres after the junction of the A550 and A5117 turn left off the dual carriageway at the A548, following signs to Flint. Go over the Dee bridge and turn off the dual carriageway at the B5129, Connah's Quay exit. Turn right under the A548. Turn left where you see the large "Rockcliffe" sign and follow the road for approx 400 yards towards the power station.

The road takes a sharp turn right over the railway and reaches a mini-roundabout where you will see the entrance to the reserve.
